One of the most sacred and treasured experiences thus far in my photography career was documenting the birth of baby Judah - my first foray into birth photography. Being invited into such a private and intimate space was an honour and a privilege. Birth is extraordinary - no matter how that perfect little human decides to enter our world. Allanah was strong, fierce and courageous as she birthed her beautiful boy in the dying moments of Easter Saturday. It was a miracle I was able to make it, after photographing a wedding 45minutes from where Allanah was birthing I hit the highway and made it with just over an hour to spare. I will forever treasure the opportunity to be there.
